Who we are

TK Marketing is the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. We operate from Corsham, Wiltshire — working across the UK.

This policy is written for the UK and refers to the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

What we collect

Contact form on our contact page:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Company (optional)
  • A few words about the project (your message)

Quote tool (on the home page and at /quote):

  • Your answers to the quote questions
  • Your name, email address and phone number where you provide them

If you book a discovery call through the booking widget embedded on our site, the booking provider collects the name, email address and any details you enter into their booking form.

If you click a phone number on the site, we record the page label and the time of the click so we can see which pages generate calls. This record does not contain your name, number or any identifier for you.

If you sign in to the private area of the site, we store the account email address and sign-in session needed to keep you logged in.

We do not run analytics or advertising tracking on this website, so we do not collect behavioural or profiling data about you.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • Responding to your enquiry or quote request — lawful basis: legitimate interests. Handling an enquiry you have chosen to send us is not based on consent; it is our legitimate interest in replying to potential and existing clients, and it is what you would reasonably expect when submitting the form.
  • Arranging and holding a booked call — legitimate interests in running our business and honouring the appointment you booked.
  • Understanding which pages produce phone calls — legitimate interests in measuring how our own site performs, using non-identifying records.
  • Providing sign-in to the private area — necessary for the performance of a contract with the account holder.
  • Storing your cookie choice — strictly necessary, and required by PECR so we can honour your preference.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the trusted service providers we use to run this website and our business — for example, the form delivery service, the booking calendar provider, and the site hosting platform. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and quote information for as long as needed to respond to your request and manage any follow-up work. Call-click records and account session data are kept only for the period needed for their purpose.

Security

Form submissions are sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to enquiry email, the booking tool and the site database is limited to people who need it and is protected by individual accounts and passwords. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

Your rights

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have data erased in certain circumstances
  • Restrict how we use your data
  • Data portability where processing is based on consent or contract and is automated
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests — including our handling of your enquiry. If you object, we will stop unless we can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests
  • Withdraw consent at any time where we rely on consent, such as cookies

To exercise any right, email enquiries@tkmarketing.co.uk. We respond within one month.

Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects. The quote tool suggests a package based on the answers you give; it is guidance only and every quote is reviewed by a person.

Children

Our services are aimed at businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Cookies

Details of the cookies and browser storage used on this site are in our Cookie Policy.

Complaints

Please contact us first at enquiries@tkmarketing.co.uk so we can put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office: ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
